A CASE REPORT - SOLITARY FIBROUS TUMOR ON THE POSTERIOR SHOULDER

Abstract

Solitary fibrous tumors (SFT) are mesenchymal in origin, they mainly originate form pleura but can arise in any anatomical site. solitary fibrous tumors are rare entities, especially when found in extrapleural locations.they are mostly benign. Rare giant tumours might have compression symptoms. Preoperative biopsy is not successful in most cases. Treatment of choice is radical excision tumor.
