A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE J.K. CEMENT LIMITED AND ULTRATECH CEMENT LIMITED

Abstract
Financial statement analysis is the method of reviewing and analysis a company's accounting report in order to analyse its past, present or projected future performance. This allows for better nancial and strategic decision making. The project work is done on “A comparative study on the nancial performance of JK Cement Limited and Ultra Tech Cement Limited”. The period of the study was carried on for ve years from 2013-14 to 2017-18. The research design of the study is descriptive research and secondary data was collected for the purpose of the study. The cash ow statement shows the changes in cash balance for particular period of time which includes operating activity, investing activity and nancing activity. A common size nancial statement displays all items as percentage of common base gure. The suggestions of the study help management to improve the nancial performance and the stakeholders to understand the nancial performance.
