A Comprehensive Review on the Relevance Feedback in Visual Information Retrieval
Journal Title: International Journal of Computer Science & Engineering Technology - Year 2015, Vol 6, Issue 6
Abstract
Visual information retrieval in images and video has been developing rapidly in our daily life and is an important research field in content-based information indexing and retrieval, automatic annotation and structuring of images. Visual information system can make the use of relevance feedback so that the user progressively refines the search result by marking images in the result as relevant , not relevant or neutral to the search query and then repeating the search with the new information. With a comprehensive review as the main portion, this paper also suggested some novel solutions and perspectives throughout the discussion. Introduce the concept of Negative bootstrap, opens up interesting avenues for future research.

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF IMAGE DENOISING TECHNIQUES
These days the concept of denoising is not restricted to the field of photography or publication where image needs to be improved for printing purpose. It is quite useful tool in number of digital image processing applic...
Efficient Keyword Search Across Relational Databases
In Traditional Keyword search system over relational data bases, a keyword query is submitted by the user to the system and the relevant results are retrieved, where the user has restricted knowledge about the data. Whil...
A Study Paper on Spectrum Sensing Techniques in Cognitive Radio Network
Cognitive radio permits unlicensed users to access licensed frequency bands through dynamic spectrum access so as to reduce spectrum deficiency. This requires intelligent spectrum sensing techniques like co-operative sen...
Modified Suffix Search Algorithm for Multiple String Matching
String Matching is now a prominent field in the area of Computer Science and it has many applications in the real world. A new algorithm for Suffix Search which uses chained hashing is proposed and this works well in mat...
A Single Image Super Resolution Using Advanced Neighbor Embedding
There are lots of Super resolution methods developed recently. Each has its own pros and cons and behavior. The neighbor-embedding (NE) algorithm for single-image super-resolution reconstruction is one of them which assu...
