Abstract
The paper presents the general rules and the process of a comparative study and the assumptions of the comparison of the objects, phenomenon, processes, methods and general sentences. These issues are related to the components of the knowledge of friction, wear and lubrication. The conclusion presents the possibility of comparing the tribological research results.
