A LOW INERTIA WAY OF CONTROLLING THE TEMPERATURE AND SUPERSATURATIONS FIELDS IN THE THERMODIFFUSION CHAMBERS. EXPERIMENTS FOR RESEARCH OF THE DIFFUSIOPHORESIS

Journal Title: Физика аэродисперсных систем - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 55

Abstract

As a result of detailed consideration of the processes taking place in the flow thermodiffusion chambers (TDC), a new method for controlling the temperature fields in the TDC, which was approved with the help of a model chamber sample, was proposed. Based on the significant experimental material, it is shown that this method is effectively realized in the model version of the TDC. Such a device can be used not only as a system for creating gradients of vapor concentration and supersaturation in a wide range of values (up to negative values, which is fundamentally impossible for standard TDCs), but also as an "absolute" aerosol filter with 100% efficiency of the filtration process.
