A Modal Analysis Study of Thin Parallelogram Plates Clamped on the Rim with and without Defects Using the SolidWorks Program
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2015, Vol 22, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper presents the study of the modal analysis of four types of plates in parallelogram shape, with or without defects, using the SolidWorks program. The results obtained after this study, have targeted the behavior of plates regarding the mesh, the deformation scale, the resultant amplitude, the rotational speeds, respectively the Eigen frequencies according to the vibration modes.

A Review of Dynamic Models Used in Simulation of Gear Transmissions
The investigation of relevant scientific literature regarding gear modeling enabled us to discover a significant number of papers dating back several decades and continuing to the present. The purpose of the dynamic mode...
Analysis of Tensile Strength of Bamboo Reinforced Polyester Composite
Nigerian grown species of bamboo called bambusa vulgaris which was examined to analyze its tensile strength. The fibre characteristics and tensile strength were investigated at three different fibre lengths and fibre loa...
Appraisal of Salt Crystallisation and Rising Damp Problems in Building
It should be pointed out that salt crystallisation and rising dampness are two separate but interconnected processes. Both of these damages must be understood if damage is to be minimized and if corrective measures are t...
A Study Effect of Sistan Region Dust on the Aero-dynamic Performance of Wind Turbine Blade
It is very important to establish a wind farm in the windy areas due to the increased use of renewable energies. Sistan region is one of the windy regions in Iran but due to the dust in the wind of this area and adhesion...
Optimal Control of an Electrical Drive System with Variable Torque
The optimal control from the energetic point of view of the transient state of electrical drive systems is presented. A step variation of the load torque in the optimization interval is considered. The performance criter...
