A new Characterization of some distributions Based on the r th conditional moment of doubly truncated mean function
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
New characterizations of doubly truncated exponential and geometric distributions are presented by using the s th conditional expectation in terms of their failure rate and reversed failure rate. These results may serve as generalization of several other results in the literature. This characterization generalizes a result of Nofal (2010).

Full-Discrete Weak Galerkin Finite Element Method for Solving Diffusion-Convection Problem.
This paper applied and analyzes full discrete weak Galerkin (WG) finite element method for non steady two dimensional convection-diffusion problem on conforming polygon. We approximate the time derivative by backward fin...
A Study on Q-Fuzzy Subnearrings of a Nearring
In this paper, we study some of the properties of Q-fuzzy subnearring of a nearring and prove some results on these.

The purpose of this study is to research the act of students' attitudes towards mathematics and mathematics course success to applying 8th grade students of guidance activities. This research is designed as pretest / post...
Harmonic Matrix and Harmonic Energy
We define the Harmonic energy as the sum of the absolute values of the eigenvalues of the Harmonic matrix, and establish some of its properties, in particular lower and upper bounds for it.
Analytical solutions of time-fractional advection problem
we use variational iteration method (VIM) to solve some nonlinear time-fractional advection problem.Compared to the other method, the VIM is direct and straightforward.
