A Nonparametric Approach to Data Analysis on Road Traffic Accidents
Journal Title: International Journal of Mathematics and Statistics Invention - Year 2018, Vol 6, Issue 3
Abstract
The increasing level of Road traffic accidents in Adamawa state as well as the rate of injuries and death propelled this paper, data on recorded Road Traffic Accidents were collected from the Federal Road Safety Corps head office Yola, nonparametric methods for data analysis were employed to check if these Road traffic offences that are responsible for Road traffic accidents in the state occur in the same pattern (way): the Kruskal-Wallis test and the Friedman test were used to make the analysis and it was observed that there is a significant difference amongst the various causes of road traffic accidents with respect to types of offences recorded for the years 2010-2015, out of the 2210 Road traffic offences recorded for the 5years, Sign Light Violation accounted for 30.72% as the Road Traffic offence with the highest contribution to Road Traffic accident in Adamawa state for the years under review, Seconded by Loss of Control with 16.70% and Dangerous Driving with 15.97%, also the Road Traffic offence with the least contribution to Road Traffic Accidents in the Statewas Use of Phone While Driving with 0.23%.

Designing a Software Application for Fibered Fano Planes
In this work, a computer program is designed to determine all fibered projective planes with base projective plane which is Fano plane. By applying this program we obtain the fibered points and lines of all these fibered...
A Moment Inequality for Overall Decreasing Life Class of Life Distributions with Hypotheses Testing Applications
A moment inequality is derived for the system whose life distribution is in an overall decreasing life (ODL) class of life distributions. A new nonparametric test statistic for testing exponentiality against ODL is inves...
Finite Time Stability of Linear Control System with Constant Delay in the State
In this paper, the problem of finite time stability of a class of linear control systems with constant delay in the state is considered. Using Coppel’s inequality and matrix measure sufficient delay dependent condition h...

On Product Connectivity Banhatti Index of Some Graphs
For a connected graph G with a vertex set V (G) and an edge set E(G) , the product connectivity Banhatti index of a graph G is defined as PB(G) = 1 , where ue means dG (u)dG (e) ue that a vertex u and an edge e are inc...
