A novel approach for pre-processing of face detection system based on HSV color space and IWPT
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2011, Vol 2, Issue 11
Abstract
Face detection system is challenging area of research in the field of security surveillance. Preprocessing of facial image data is very important part of face detection system. Now days various method of facial image data preprocessing are available, but all these method are not up to mark. Now we have a novel approach for preprocessing of face detection system based on HSV color space and integer wavelet packet transform method. And finally in this paper we have used LBP (local binary pattern) and SVM classification process are used.

Implementation of a Formal Software Requirements Ambiguity Prevention Tool
The success of the software engineering process depends heavily on clear unambiguous software requirements. Ambiguity refers to the possibility to understand a requirement in more than one way. Unfortunately, ambiguity i...
Strategic Planning towards Automation of Fiber To The Home (FTTH) Considering Optic Access Network (OAN) Model
With the intention to meet the increasing demand of future higher bandwidth applications, fiber based Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) access is considered best resolution to deliver triple play services (voice, da...
Improving the Solution of Traveling Salesman Problem Using Genetic, Memetic Algorithm and Edge assembly Crossover
The Traveling salesman problem (TSP) is to find a tour of a given number of cities (visiting each city exactly once) where the length of this tour is minimized. Testing every possibility for an N city tour would be...
A Novel Permutation Based Approach for Effective and Efficient Representation of Face Images under Varying Illuminations
Paramount importance for an automated face recognition system is the ability to enhance discriminatory power with a low-dimensional feature representation. Keeping this as a focal point, we present a novel approach for f...
Mitigation of Cascading Failures with Link Weight Control
Cascading failures are crucial issues for the study of survivability and resilience of our infrastructures and have attracted much interest in complex networks research. In this paper, we study the overload-based cascadi...
