A Novel Voltage Divider Circuit
Journal Title: Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research - Year 2012, Vol 2, Issue 5
Abstract
A novel analog divider is described in this paper. The circuit enables the division of a dc voltage with another dc voltage. The constant of the division is dependent upon a third dc voltage and a pair of resistors. Employing a precision source for the third dc voltage and matched resistors, an acceptable level of accuracy can be obtained.

Modeling and Parameter Optimization for Surface Roughness and Residual Stress in Dry Turning Process
The influence of some turning variables and tool overhang on surface roughness parameters and residual stress induced due to machining 6061-T6 aluminum alloy is investigated in this paper. Four input parameters (cutting...
Pollution Maintenance Techniques in Coastal High Voltage Installations
Pollution of outdoor high voltage insulators is a common problem for utilities, with a considerable impact to power system reliability. In an effort to prevent possible flashovers due to pollution, many methods have been...
Using Association Rules to Enrich Arabic Ontology
In this article, we propose the use of a minimal generic base of associative rules between term association rules, to automatically enrich an existing domain ontology. Initially, non-redundant association rules between t...
Effect of Time, Solvent-Solid Ratio, Ethanol Concentration and Temperature on Extraction Yield of Phenolic Compounds From Olive Leaves
This study aims to determine the factors affecting the process of extraction of phenolic compounds from olive leaves. Two methods of extraction were used in this work and different tests were implemented with the aim of...
Optimal Resources Planning of Residential Complex Energy System in a Day-ahead Market Based on Invasive Weed Optimization Algorithm
This paper deals with optimal resources planning in a residential complex energy system, including FC (fuel cell), PV (Photovoltaic) panels and the battery. A day-ahead energy management system (EMS) based on invasive we...
