A RESEARCH TOWARD DENTAL TOURIST’S DENTAL TOURISM EXPERIENCE: THE CASE OF ALANYA

Abstract
This research is conducted to determine the dental tourism experiences of dental tourists who came Alanya within the concept of dental tourism which is under medical tourism. Research is conducted in Alanya. Five factors which affects the dental tourism experience of dental tourists was determined as the results of the analysis. These factors are named as “destination and dental treatment opportunities”, “service quality”, “comparison of destinations”, “destination opportunities, and “service convenience”. Research findings reveals that dental tourists gather information about dental tourism activities by word of mouth but plan their travel individual. However, factors which affect general satisfaction, recommendation and revisit intention of dental tourists toward dental tourism activities are “service quality” and “service convenience”.
