Abstract
“Batı’da Bir Nakşî Cemaati - Şeyh Nâzım Kıbrısî Örneği” kitabının ilk bas- kısı İletişim Yayınları tarafından yapılmıştır. (1996) Kitap, Nakşibendiliğin Halidî kollarından biri olan Kıbrısî Cemaatinin, İngiltere’deki yapılanması özelinde hazırlanmış bir saha çalışmasıdır. (1991-92) Kitabın ana metni, Londra Üniversitesi Doğu ve Afrika Çalışmaları Okulu’na 1994’te sunulmuş bir doktora tez çalışmasıdır.(Naqshbandi Sufis in a Western Settinğ). Kitap, tezin geliştirilip, yeniden düzenlenmesi sonrasında ilk baskısını yapmıştır.
