A review of cardiovascular disease induced by radiation
Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
Cardiovascular diseases are still in the 1st place in the world among cause of deaths. Data accumulates about publications investigating the effect of radiation on cardiovascular disease. Ionized radiation is used for diagnosis and treatment of many disease, recently. As for invasive cardiology; coronary artery disease, cardiac valve diseases, electrophysiological studies require radiation assistance. It is very important for invasive cardiologists to know the cardiovascular adverse effects of radiation and radiation protection methods.

Mean Platelet volume to platelet and red cell distribution width to platelet ratios in Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Aim:Irritable Bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common gastrointestinal disease worldwide with a broad spectrum of symptoms. In present retrospective study, we aimed to compare mean platelet volume to platelet ratio (MPR) and re...
G1733A (RS6152) polymorphism of the androgen receptor gene in patients with prostate cancer
Aim: The causes of prostate cancer development and molecular mechanism underlying its development and progression are not clearly understood. The aim of this study is to determine the frequency of G1733A (rs6152) polymor...
Effects of magnesium sulphate on liver ischemia/reperfusion injury in a rat model
Aim: To investigate the protective efficacy of magnesium sulphate in a model of rat liver ischemiareperfusion (I/R) injury. Method: 32 adult female Wistar-Albino rats (250 to 350 g) were used in this experimental study....
Use of salidroside in a lipopolysaccharide-induced periventricular leukomalacia model
Aim: Research into the different treatment methods based on the intrauterine lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) model, as one of the main causes of morbidity in preterm infants still cont...
