A Review of Conformal Field Theory in 2D
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 0, Vol 6, Issue 2
Abstract
In this review we study the elementary structure of Conformal Field Theory in which is a recipe for further studies of critical behavior of various systems in statistical mechanics and quantum field theory. We briefly review CFT in dimensions which plays a prominent role for example in the well-known duality AdS/CFT in string theory where the CFT lives on the AdS boundary. We also describe the mapping of the theory from the cylinder to a complex plane which will help us gain an insight into the process of radial quantization and radial ordering. Finally we will develop the representation of the Virasoro algebra which is the well-known "Verma module".

The Correlation Between Fluxes of Balmer Emission Lines of H? and H? and Colors of a Galaxy in VNIR Region
ABSTRACT We have studied the correlation between the flux and colors of a galaxy sample from SDSS, Data Release 13 as measured by the standard Balmer decrement technique in both visible and near-infrared region, coveri...
The Philosophy of Space-Time: Whence Cometh Matter and Motion?
From the macrocosm to the microcosm, natural science has so far confirmed the most fundamental assertion of materialist dialectics that there can be no matter without motion and no motion without matter. This view of the...
Tetraeder Geometry
In the same way every circle is corresponding to an equal sided triangle the 3-sphere is corresponding to an inserted tetraeder. The latitude of the corners of the tetraeder on the 3-sphere is calculated here giving the...
Effect of mechanical consolidation on adhesion mechanism of hybrid non-woven Alfa fibers reinforced unsaturated polyester composite
Vibrational analysis based on FTIR measurements were performed on hybrid non-woven Alfa fibers reinforced unsaturated polyester composite (HNWAFRUP) and its constituents. The reinforcement was made up of Alfa and wool fi...
The Conservation of Energy and Momentum in the Positron-Electron Annihilation According to Complete Relativity
According to Complete Relativity (an improvement of Special Relativity where a new postulate was introduced: an electron cannot move at average speeds less than u0 = αc / Ï where α is the constant of fine structu...
