A Review of Interdisciplinary Research on Language and Medicine: Crossing Boundaries and Innovation

Abstract

Based on the review and summarization of the key speeches in the conference of "Interdisciplinary Research on Language and Medicine: Crossing Boundaries and Innovation" , this paper outlines the frontiers of research in areas such as the development and setbacks of clinical linguistics, language studies of children with autism, progress in technology-enabled research on language and brain disorders, conversational analysis on cases of doctor-patient interactions, challenges and suggestions for the cultivation of medical translation talents, and the international communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine culture. It reveals the theoretical and practical pathways for in-depth interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of language and medicine, identifies key areas for interdisciplinary collaboration, explores future directions, and hopefully provides theoretical support and practical insights for advancing innovative integration between language and medicine.
