Abstract
efficiency and effectiveness, have explored ways to increase the performance of their employees. Employees’ high productivity affects the general performance of an enterprise. Individual voluntary behaviors which are not recognized by the formal reward system and contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the organization are defined as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Organizational Citizenship Behavior provides positive contribution to general performance of organization. It is very important for the organizations to know the factors that cause employees’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior. One of these factors is Transformational Leadership behaviors conducted by managers. Transformational Leaders play a critical role on employees’ behaivors and improving their performance. Transformational Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior concepts in the management and organization domain, have recently gained more importance and became frequently pronounced. This study is based on literature review about Transformational Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior concept and aimed to identify the studies on similar topics in maritime business.
