A Secure and Localized Cluster based Underwater Sensor Network
Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
Underwater Sensor Networks (UWSNs) deals with issues unlike terrestrial networks such as , a long propagation delay, a narrow bandwidth as well as high packet loss. In underwater environment, implementation of an efficient communication mechanism is a significant problem. The main issue in underwater sensor network is that nodes cannot be fixed due to continuous flow of water which ultimately affects data transmission. Localization and security are one of these issues to be considered in underwater sensor network design. In the proposed work the implementation of localization and security aspects in cluster based underwater sensor network is done in order to improve the network performance.
Optimization of Growth Medium in Microbial Fuel Cell for Electricity Production by Paenibacillus
Microbial fuel cell ( MFC ) represents a new method for electricity generation and waste water treatment. Microbial fuel cells are devices that can use bacterial metabolism to produce an electrical current from a wide ra...
Optimal Control Strategy of a Tuberculosis Epidemic Model with Drug Resistant TB
In this paper, we present an optimal control approach for a Susceptible-Exposed-Infected- Recovered (SEIR) epidemic model of tuberculosis disease. Seeking to reduce the infected group, we use a control representing dru...
Automatic Redeye Detection and Correction in Digital Images
"Red eye effect is still a major problem in digital photography. The red eye effect in photography is the common appearance of red pupils in colored photographs. The effect is caused when the camera captures the flash li...
Review on Floating Point Adder and Converter Units Using VHDL
Abstract: Floating Point arithmetic is the most used way of approximating real number arithmetic for performing numerical calculations on modern computers. The advantage of floating-point representation is that it can su...
Triple Combination Therapy – A 12 Month Case Series
The ultimate goal of periodontal therapy is complete regeneration of the periodontal attachment apparatus. The combination of various regenerative biologic agents has recently attracted the interest of researchers in the...
