A single dose Cefepime induced seizure – A lesser reported complication.

Abstract
Abstract Neurotoxicity is a lesser known complication of Cefepime, a fourth generation Cephalosporin. Cefepime is primarily excreted unchanged via kidney. We report here a patient placed for VP Shunt surgery with mild renal impairment who developed seizure with single dose Cefepime.
