A study of functional outcome of correction of cubitus varus deformity by stepcut translation osteotomy
Journal Title: International Journal of Orthopaedics Sciences - Year 2017, Vol 3, Issue 4
Abstract
Objective To analyse the cosmetic and functional outcome of correction of cubitus varus deformity in adolescents and adults by step cut translation osteotomy. To analyse the amount of varus deformity correction obtained. To analyse the amount of varus deformity correction obtained. To analyse the amount of correction of Lateral condyle prominence obtained. To analyse the post-operative arc of motion and the difference in the post-operative range of motion in comparison with the pre-operative range. To analyse the associated complications, and To come to a conclusion as to the efficacy of the procedure.

Effect of intact fibula in treatment of tibail diaphyseal fractures with intramedullary nailing
Introduction: Nonunion rates among the cases with isolated tibial diaphyseal fractures ranges from 1%-17%. Studies can be found, saying that intact fibula is a good prognostic factor and will increase stability, and also...
A study of clinical evaluation of effectiveness of hydraulic distension of shoulder in the management of frozen shoulder
In this study we aim to evaluate clinical evaluation of outcome of treatment of frozen shoulder by hydraulic distension under local anesthesia with steroid. A rapid, immediate result and cost effectiveness of hydraulic d...
Volar locking plate is a better option for the treatment of distal end radius fractures-our experience in 30 cases: A prospective study
Distal end radius fractures constitute 17% of all fractures and 75% of all forearm fractures. Due to population explosion, aging society, & enormous increase of high-speed RTAs’, these fractures are expected to increase...
Early functional outcome of proximal femoral nail vs dynamic hip screw in the management of intertrochanteric fractures
Introduction: Intertochanteric fractures are the most frequently operated fracture type and has the highest postoperative fatality rate. Aim of The Study: To assess the early functional outcome of proximal femoral nail v...
Mid term results of staged management of high-energy proximal tibia fractures
Background: Proximal tibial fractures with high energy trauma are extremely complex injuries with significant associated soft-tissue damage. This Retrospective study was used to evaluate the results of staged management...
