A study on biochemical parameters of diabetic nephropathy patients before and after the dialysis
Journal Title: Indian Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Biotechnology - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 2
Abstract
Diabetes is the chronic metabolic disorder which disturb the metabolic pathways of protein, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. It causes the microvascular complications like diabetic nephropathy. Diabetic neuropathy and diabetic retinopathy. Our study focuses on diabetic nephropathy. In diabetic nephropathy patients for kidney clearance of protein, glucose and cholesterol they need dialysis. There is a significant results are obtained after the post dialysis of diabetic nephropathy. The mean values of glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, total protein, albumin and globulin give significant results after dialysis.
