A Study on Queuing System with Parallel Servers
Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
Consider a system of two parallel queues where each customer must leave after service through a common gate G. Assume that service times at the two stations I and II are independent and identically distributed with density function on , and that exist service takes a fixed length of time . Suppose further that a I-customer may be served at station I only if the previous I-customer has completed exist service. In this paper the total service time is calculated.
Semantic Similarity Using Web Search Engine
Measuring the semantic similarity between words is an important component in various tasks on the web such as relation extraction, document clustering, and automatic metadata extraction. Despite the usefulness of semanti...
Mobile Ad hoc Networks and its Clustering Scheme
Adaptability is a key issue in the successful operation of a MANET while Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANET) has many characteristics that are a challenge to manage, like bandwidth and power constraints, dynamic topology, etc...
Signal Denoising Using EMD and Hilbert Transform and Performance Evaluation with K-S Test
The Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) is viewed as a promising method to process the nonlinear and non-stationary signal. EMD method could decompose the signal into a number of IMFs among which are there several illusive com...
Comparative Study: PTS & Iterative Flipping Method
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing is one of the hopeful methods for accomplishing lofty downlink limits in upcoming cell & remote systems. The signals of OFDM are high PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio) of the s...
Antibacterial Studies of Leucine Complexes of Fe (III) and Cu (II)
"Fe (III) and Cu (II) complexes of leucine were synthesised and characterized. The inhibition strengths of these complexes against some bacteria were evaluated. It was found that the λmax of the complexes were at 670 nm...
