A STUDY ON SPEECH ANXIETY OF TURKISH LANGUAGE TEACHER CANDIDATES

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı Türkiye’de yaşayan Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının konuşma becerilerine ilişkin kaygı düzeylerini belirleyebilmektir. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SPSS (Statistical PackageforSocialSciences) for Windows 21.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verileri değerlendirilirken tanımlayıcı istatistiksel metotları (sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın değişkenleri arasında korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular %95 güven aralığında, %5 anlamlılık düzeyinde değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin “konuşmacı odaklı kaygı” düzeyi zayıf (2,554 ± 0,711); “çevre odaklı kaygı” düzeyi zayıf (2,589 ± 0,832); “konuşma psikolojisi” düzeyi (2,593 ± 0,868); “genel konuşma kaygısı” düzeyi zayıf (2,571 ± 0,683) olarak saptanmıştır. 2. Sınıf öğrencilerinin çevre odaklı kaygı puanları, konuşma psikolojisi puanları, genel konuşma kaygısı puanları ortalamalarının diğer sınıf düzeylerinden yüksek olduğu görülmüştür.
