A Survey of Machine Learning Algorithm in Network Traffic Classification
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF COMPUTER TRENDS & TECHNOLOGY - Year 2014, Vol 9, Issue 6
Abstract
Network Traffic Classification is an emerging research area and now a day the research is widely used in various activities such as intrusion detection system and for security purpose. Many of the protocols and proposed application have been investigated and developed by using machine learning algorithms. We also focused on traditional and statistical methods. The previous used techniques and recent techniques have been compared using machine learning. In this paper the survey of different machine learning techniques are done and I identify better techniques to improve the performance.

MCA Learning Algorithm for Incident Signals Estimation:A Review
Recently there has been many works on adaptive subspace filtering in the signal processing literature. Most of them are concerned with tracking the signal subspace spanned by the eigenvectors corresponding to the eigenva...
An Efficient Boundary Detection and Image Segmentation Method Based on Perceptual Organization
In this paper, we presents a novel method for detecting the boundaries of the object in outdoor images by using most common properties of the images such as perceptual organization laws. Here the proposed segmentation sc...
Cloud Computing: A Strategy to Improve the Economy of Islamic Societies
Cloud computing is the new technology that significantly change the landscape of businesses as it enables users, companies, and governments to store information in multiple servers and allows on-demand access. The cloud...
Large-Girth Column-Weight Two QC-LDPC Codes
This article presents a method for constructing large girth column-weight 2 QC-LDPC codes. A distance graph is first constructed using an existing method. The distance graph is then converted into a Tanner graph. The pr...
Image Search Reranking
The existing methods for image search re ranking suffer from the unfaithfulness of the as sumptions under which the text-based images search result. The resulting images contain more irrelevant images. Hence the re ranki...
