Abstract
There exists a gap between Web mining and the effectiveness of using Web data. The main reason is that we cannot simply utilize and maintain the discovered knowledge using the traditional knowledge-based techniques due to the huge amount of discovered patterns, many noise in discovered patterns and even some useful patterns with uncertainties.
