A Theoretical Justification of NASA Electromagnetic Drive based on Cosmic Dark Matter
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering Innovations and Research - Year 2018, Vol 7, Issue 1
Abstract
Based on earlier research results concerning cosmic ordinary energy and dark energy, it is argued that the energy density gradient present in spacetime can produce sufficient thrust to make NASA’s EM drive proposal not only possible but also feasible. This conclusion is also reinforced by a celebrated measure theoretical theorem due to I. Dvoretzky. This should settle the heated controversy of claims and counter claims made by enthusiasts and doubters of the EM drive [1-6]. The main objection about the project is that the theoretical basis contradicts physics connected to Newton’s third law [3]. The present work demonstrates that EM is consistent with the principles of modern quantum cosmology and the Heterotic superstring equations of ordinary and dark energy.

Cyclic Bending Failure of Local Sharp-Notched Circular Tubes with Different Diameter-to-Thickness Ratios
In this study, the failure of local sharp-notched 6061-T6 aluminum alloy tubes with different diameter-to-thickness ratios submitted to cyclic bending are studied. Different diameter-to-thickness ratios of 16.5, 31.0 and...
Modal Analysis of a Non-rotating Inflated Tire using Experimental and Numerical Methods
A typical automotive wheel transmits noise and vibration from road to the automotive body structure, and considered as an important parameter in automotive NVH performance optimization. Having a reliable and simple finit...
Output and Power Characteristics of LLC Resonant DC-DC Converters for Photovoltaic Applications
The output and power characteristics of different LLC resonant DC-DC converter configurations are obtained, which will inform the designer of the resonant converters, what is the type of LLC configuration, respectively t...
Using Run-of-mine Tonnage and Grade to Predict Cost and Categorize Gold Mines
This paper focuses on establishing logistic model of cost effect of run-of-mine tonnage and grade in the justification of categorization of gold mines. Gold mines could be categorized based on the abilities of rom-grade...
Microhardness and Surface Charge Correlation in Resol Phenolic Resin/Organoclay Composites
For the preparation of resol phenolic resin/ organoclay composites (ROC), the resol phenolic resin (RPR) in which the synthesis conditions were 50°C and 1.3 F/P (Formaldehyde/Phenol) ratio was used. At the synthesis of o...
