Abdürreşid Ibrahim Effendi, one of the greatest wise men in 20th century, had to struggle throughout his life; that's why; he had been a model in the society. He tried to enlighten the Russian Muslims by using newspapers and magazines. In this vein, he began his journey from Siberia and finished it in Japan. Abdürreşid Ibrahim travelled a great part of the world, and while travelling, he told around the situation of Muslims as well as the depression and pressure they lived through. Since he thought that all of the problems all Muslims in the world had as well as the Muslims in Russia resulted from the lack of education, it is very clear in his writings that he emphasizes the reform in education a lot. Some of his writings in which he explains his ideas on education have been published in the magazine called 'Te’ârüf-i Müslimîn'. It is seen that he discussed the topics in Te’ârüf-i Müslimîn under three headings: female disciples, education system and ulema.
