About a cervico-mediastinal fluid collection

Journal Title: JOURNAL OF FUNCTIONAL VENTILATION AND PULMONOLOGY - Year 2018, Vol 9, Issue 29

Abstract

Mediastinal locations of Hodgkin's lymphomas are quite common. They can be revealed by an infectious syndrom and atypical radiological images leading to a wandering diagnosis and a therapeutic delay. We present the case of a 37-year-old diabetic patient with an infectious syndrom and radiological images suggestive of a mediastinal abscess. Surgical biopsies have led to the diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma.
