Abstract
The paper presents some principles on which the technical education in engineering is based in the first two years of study. More and more students understand education to be equal to learning, tasks equal to achievements and training with understanding and thinking patterns. The study was made on different groups of students answering the same quiz, but without any specific reference to any discipline.
