About quantum mechanical and classical interpretation of the photon’s wave properties

Abstract

The results of application of Schrödinger equation and Heisenberg‘s uncertainty relation for the photons wave properties description as material particles are presented. Ψ-function of photon as a solution of Schrödinger equation was found to be identical to the solution of Maxwell‘s wave equations for electrical and magnetic components of field intensity in the running plane electromagnetic wave propagating along direction of photon‘s motion. Application of Heisenberg‘s uncertainty relation for the description of photon‘s deviation during passing the narrow hole has led to results well agreed with classical interpretation. Obtained results provide a “new view” on some “old” problems in optics. Specifically they are diffraction of sole photons, diffraction of photons on the tele-scopes inlets, growth of coherence radius of the light coming from the distant stars.
