Accelerated Ageing Tests of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors for Evaluating Lifetime Prediction Models
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2012, Vol 53, Issue 2
Abstract
During the course of the presented work accelerated ageing tests at constant temperature for aluminum electrolytic capacitors were carried out. The obtained results from practical tests are compared with projections of the lifetime of the capacitors given by current theoretical prediction methods and the accuracy of these methods is evaluated. Finally, two prediction methods are combined in order to give a higher accuracy lifetime prediction algorithm

Bearing Defects Signals Demodulation Using Shock Filters
A fundamental problem in the development of faults detection and diagnoses methods is to obtain fault signature data as clear as is possible. This article is focused on vibration signals generated by rolling bearings wit...
Pairing For Elliptic Curves With Embedding Degree 1 Defined Over Prime Order Fields
In the last years, prime order pairing-based cryptography has received much attention. The embedding degree 1 is very appealing because the computations can be performed without any extension fields, but the efficiency p...
Evaluating the Performances of the CastGate Tunnel Server over TCP and UDP Links in Multi-Client Configuration
The CastGate architecture defines a transitory tunneling solution, offering access to native multicast. This paper describes the implementation of a testing application (CastGate Tester - CT) for the CastGate Tunnel Ser...
Defect detection and restoration of heritage images
One of the major problems of the old artworks is their degradation due to aging. As a result, the digitized artworks images exhibit a series of defects. Whereas scientific methods were applied to the analysis and restora...
Evaluation Of The Plasma Cleaned Surface Of A Heritage Wooden Painting Using IQA Methods
In this paper a new approach regarding the assessment of the visual efficiency of the plasma cleaning treatment applied in artwork restoration is discussed. The proposed method, which was tested in the case of a wooden p...
