Accelerated Ageing Tests of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors for Evaluating Lifetime Prediction Models
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2012, Vol 53, Issue 2
Abstract
During the course of the presented work accelerated ageing tests at constant temperature for aluminum electrolytic capacitors were carried out. The obtained results from practical tests are compared with projections of the lifetime of the capacitors given by current theoretical prediction methods and the accuracy of these methods is evaluated. Finally, two prediction methods are combined in order to give a higher accuracy lifetime prediction algorithm

Performance Analysis of Network Coding-Based Cooperation Algorithms Employed in Cellular Networks
The employment of the network coding, combined with distributed FEC coding, in cooperative transmission schemes leads to a more efficient use of the additional time-frequency resources required by cooperation, i.e. by al...
TLS Protocol: Secure Protocol With Client Puzzles
Client puzzles are commonly proposed as a solution to denial-of-service attacks. We analyzed the TLS protocol and implement Client Puzzles algorithm. We pursued the following objectives: analyze TLS handshake protocol...
Detecting Dependencies Between States of Multiple Data Streams
The subject of dependency detection has been addressed many times during the last 20 years, and methods that extract frequent patterns or temporal information from data have been developed. The information extracted has...
Image Enhancement Using a New Shock Filter Formalism
We present a new approach based on Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) and shock filter theory for deblurring 2D Gaussian blurred images. The inherent problems of stability posed by the reverse heat equation and the di...
Combustion Sound Analysis to Control the Burning Quality
The quality of the burning process may be investigated by using different means, such as visual inspection, employing electro- chemical transducers or analyzing the sound generated by the burning process. This paper reve...
