Active Learning of Control Systems
Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Teaching control systems to the under graduate engineering students is a tough job without active learning. The innovation in teaching control systems is simple but quiet interesting. A role play was conducted to make the learners to understand the difference between the open loop and closed loop systems. The analogy of saturation was compared with the saturation of torque speed characteristic of motor. The effect of Positive feedback also demonstrated to the learners. Finally a simple DC motor was constructed by the learners and was successfully rotated by a group of leaners. The author finds easy to teach the control systems with these types of active learning.
"Statistical Features Based Off Line Signature Verification System using Image Processing "
Handwritten signature recognition can be divided into online (or dynamic) and off-line (or static) recognition. Online recognition refers to a process that the signer uses a special pen called a stylus to create his or h...
A Novel Approach for Cluster Outlier Detection in High Dimensional Data
In modern era there are lots of data mining algorithms which focus on clustering methods. There are also several types of approaches designed for outlier detection. Outliers are those data objects that do not fulfill wit...
Risk Assessment for the Development of Caries in Visually Impaired Children in Sofia City, Bulgaria
