Actuality of molecular genetic studies in aquaculture

In the present article, it was considered the state and prospects of modern molecular genetic research in aquaculture, an overview of the methods of studying the genetic structure by using different types of markers. As a result of the use of molecular genetic markers, it is possible to evaluate intraspecific genetic polymorphism, to carry out the certification of repair broodstocks and further formation of parent pairs of producers by alternative genotypes in order to improve the quality of the genetic material of fish tribal resources in order to control the reproduction efficiency in the conditions of domestic fish farms.
