Abstract
In this article, the author analyzes the basics of the legal regulation of public administration in the sphere of use, conservation and reproduction of subsurface resources in Canada. The main directions of further introduction of positive experience in creating an effective system of public administration in this sphere for Ukraine and ways of its implementation are singled out.
