AGRIBUSINESS AS A PART OF RURAL INCLUSIVE GROWTH

Abstract

Purpose. Justify the inclusive growth of the rural economy as the basis of rural areas socio-economic development, through the active participation of agribusiness and inclusion of all local communities members. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the paper is fundamental statement of modern economics, publication of internal and foreign researchers. The study used the general and special methods, including: monographic method - to study the problem of inclusive growth in the rural economy; logical - to justify the concept of “inclusive growth”; comparative - to carry out the classification of economic growth on various grounds: inclusive, extractives. Findings. Established that it is important not only to improve the economic situation in Ukraine, but also equitable distribution of growth results among all segments of the population, it is necessary to change in the quality of economic growth, that it should be socially oriented, inclusive and sustainable. It is determined that inclusive development - the ability of a society to ensure the welfare and economic growth to all its members, minimizing disparities and avoiding polarization of income. Proved that Ukraine should move from a model of rural development in which competitive advantage due mainly using natural resources to inclusive, which priorities are job growth, saving energy and other natural resources, technological level of capital and innovative management style. Originality of scientific results is in determining the theoretical features of inclusive rural development, which requires the type of economic growth that covers all aspects of society and the public and provides a tangible result for everyone. Practical value. The received research results on theoretical statements and methodological approaches on definition of inclusive economic growth can be used for the formation of government programs, laws of Ukraine and strategic documents, facilitate capacity building of government institutions responsible for national development.
