AGROTURIZMI BURIM MIRËQËNIE PËR ZONAT RURALE

Abstract
Our country after the 90s underwent a profound change in all aspects of life, including radical changes in agricultural activity. Albania has historically relied on the agricultural industry, but the transition period has severely affected the sector. Through this paper, the application of agro-tourism is considered as an opportunity for the development of rural areas. Agrotourism gives definitions, different opinions, eg a definition may consider agro-tourism as a combination of agricultural products with the tourist experience. Agrotourism contributes to enhancing the quality of life of the local community by expanding the opportunities for entertainment, diversification of economic activity and education for the preservation of agricultural land. Agrotourism provides opportunities for generations (children and adults) education to learn about farming heritage, food production and resource management.
