Journal Title: RA Journal Of Applied Research - Year 2015, Vol 1, Issue 9

Abstract

AIDS is an acronym for the acquired immune deficiency syndrome. AIDS is not a single disease but it is a syndrome which results from the destruction of body’s defenses by human immune deficiency virus (HIV). Likewise tuberculosis is a widespread infectious disease caused by various strains of mycobacteria. According to ayurvedic perspective AIDS can be corelated with Pratiloma-rajayakshma as there exists significant similarity between causative factor, signs and symptoms. A detailed elaboration is given in full paper.
