Akne Vulgarisin Bazal Metabolizma Hızı Üzerine Etkisinin Araştırılması

Abstract
Amaç Liseli gençlerde bazal metabolizma hızı ile akne vulgaris arasındaki ilişkiyi tanımlamak. Gereç ve Yöntemler 106 adet yatılı okulda okuyan 14 yaşında erkek öğrenci araştırıldı (53 akneli ve 53 aknesiz).Bazal metabolizma hızı ölçümü 8 noktadan, 4 ekstremiteden ve gövdeden, 8 noktadan bioempedans yöntemiyle ölçen In Body 230 cihazı ile yapılmıştır. Bulgular Akneli grupta Bazal Metabolizma Hızı kontrol grubundan fazla bulunmuştur. Her iki grup arasında anlamlı bir fark vardır (p=0.009). Sonuç Akne vulgaris bu yaş grubunda bazal metabolizmada artışa neden olmaktadır. Bunun nedeni stres, sosyal kaygı, sosyal kaçınma olabilir. Akne vulgaris tedavisinde psikolojik destek göz ardı edilmemelidir.
