Journal Title: Acta Neophilologica - Year 2006, Vol 1, Issue 0

Abstract

The authoress discusses the most important active processes in the field of deriyation in Russian at the beginning of the 21st century, namely the colloquialization, the growth of interna- tional lexis, the growth of analytic constructions and agglutination in the structure of derivatives, the growth of subjective factors as well as the excessive expressions. As the sources of language samples the authoress uses texts of current speech, of mass communication and of the newest literature.
