ALGORITHM FOR AUTOMATIC GENERATION OF INK AND CHALK ILLUSTRATIONS
Journal Title: Scientific Bulletin, Series: Electronics and Computer Science - Year 2017, Vol 17, Issue 1
Abstract
This article presents an algorithm for the automatic generation of illustrations performed with chalk and ink hatching techniques. Methods for obtaining different types of hatch patterns are presented. The results obtained with different patterns are compared.

A METHOD FOR TRANSLATING PSEUDOCODE TO HDL VIA FINITE AUTOMATA
While combinatorial logic circuit design methods are very easy to understand and automate, sequential logic circuit design is difficult for those that are new to the field. Textbooks focus on translating graphs into logi...
OPTIMIZED GABOR FEATURES FOR FACIAL RECOGNITION SYSTEM
Feature extraction is a significant process in any pattern recognition, computer vision and image processing. Among several feature extraction techniques like Fisher Linear Discriminant Analysis (FLDA), Principal Compone...
VIRTUALIZATION IMPACT ON COMSOL PROCESSOR DETECTION
Running operating systems in a virtual environment is necessary to allow isolated systems to share the same hardware resources. The hypervisor handles the resource management and presents to the virtual operating system...
THEORETICAL AND NUMERICAL ASPECTS CONCERNING MAGNETIC FORCE COMPUTATION FOR DC SOLENOIDAL ACTUATORS
The paper is intended to describe the usage of Comsol Multiphysics finite element software for teaching modeling and simulation of a DC actuator. In order to evaluate the magnetic flux distribution for different plunger...
AN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GREEDY ALGORITHM FOR MULTICORE SYSTEMS
The great variety of parallel systems that appeared in the last period and use multicore chips leads inevitably to the development of applications with parallel algorithms. A multicore algorithm uses several threads in t...
