Abstract
Alonso Martínez Guirao is the clear example of the nexus between Spain, specifically from Cehegín to Hispanoamerica. Among his merits and war milestones we highlight his participation in the War of Independence, in the American War of Emancipation and in the Carlist War among others, in America he reached the rank of lieutenant and later in Spain he became captain.
