AMBIGUITY FUNCTION TWO-ELEMENTS ANTENNA RADIOMETRIC SYSTEMS

Abstract
Ambiguity function of the radiometric complex with two-elements antenna system is studied. A change of the ambiguity function form in the transition from narrowband to ultra-wideband spatio-temporal signal processing is obtained and a physical interpretation of these changes are given. It is proved that the traditional narrowband, wideband and ultra-wideband criteria using in active radar can not be used in a passive radar. The resulting article results can form the basis to develop appropriate criteria which take into account the classical relationship of bandwidth to the central receiver tuning frequency and the geometry of the antenna system radiometric complexes
