Abstract
This article explores the main administrative and legal means of protecting the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, analyzes the relationship concept of security and protection. The essence of administrative and legal ways of protecting human and civil rights and freedoms is determined and analyzed. It is noted that one of the main administrative and legal methods of protecting the rights and freedoms of man and citizen is the constitutional right of citizens to appeal.
