An Advanced Neural Network based Method for Noise Removal and Edge Detection
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MANAGEMENT & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - Year 2013, Vol 7, Issue 2
Abstract
Edge detection is an important pre-processing step for any image processing application, object recognition and emotion detection. Edge detection is very helpful in case of noise free images. But in case of noisy images it is a challenging task.Noisy images are corrupted images. Their parameters are difficult to analyze and detect. In this research work different filters are used for the filtration of the image and to analyze that what exact difference it makes when it comes to detect t he edge of the image. It includes the comparative study of various image denoising filters. These Filters are then applied withBFO Algorithm and they are compared with one another which help to calculate the parameters of noisy images. The comparison parameters which have been taken into contrast are Peak Signal to Noise Ratio, Mean Square Error and Noise Suppression Rate.

A STUDY ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PERCEIVED CONSUMER EFFECTIVENESS, ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN AND GREEN PURCHASE BEHAVIOR OF CONSUMERS AT UNIVERSITY
Developed by the consumers realizations about the negative effects they pose for nature, environmental consciousness has gradually turned into a concern. Environmental concern is defined as a parameter trying to identify...
Stochastic Programming for Optimal Decision Making through Scaling Measures
In this paper, a stochastic programming problem for scaling measures similar to Likert's format is developed. The objective function is formulated with a view of maximizing the expected decision making score. The constra...
How do Competitive and Regulatory Pressures Interact with Internal Corporate Governance?: Evidence from the Cameroonian Banking Sector
The objective of this article is to analyse the impact of both external and internal mechanisms of corporate governance on banks performance in Cameroon. The internal governance mechanisms consist of those linked with th...
P-Path Minimum Distance Connectivity from Head Quarter to the Cities
Many Combinatorial programming problems are NP-hard (Non Linear Polynomial), and we consider one of them called P path minimum distance connectivity from head quarter to the cities. Let there be n cities and the distance...
