An Analytic Potential Solution for Incompressible 2D Channel Inviscid Flow with Wall Injection
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2010, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
The present paper introduces an analytical potential solution for the incompressible flow in a 2D channel with normal wall injection. This solution is capable to support reasonable injection flow rates as compared to the general flow rate in the channel. A strategy to find solutions for longer channels in case of increasing injection velocity with the distance from the entrance, using a small number of the solution terms is pointed out. Examples of calculation are given.

The validation of an aerospace structure through the sine vibration analysis
Sinusoidal vibrations represent an ideal case. Technically, it is quite hard to generate pure sinusoidal vibrations without containing other spectral components, called harmonics. Sinusoidal vibrations can appear on prop...
A Physical – Geometrical Model of an Early Universe
A physical-geometrical model for a possible early universe is proposed. One considers an initial singularity containing the energy of the whole universe. The singularity expands as a spherical wave at the speed of light...
Nanofilled EPDM composite for aerospace applications
O-rings are designed to be seated in a groove and compressed during assembly between two or more parts, creating a seal at the interface. The joint may be static, or (in a few circumstances) may have relative motion betw...
Modeling of Target Tracking System for Homing Missiles and Air Defense Systems
One reason of why the guidance and control systems are imperfect is due to the dynamics of both the tracker and the missile, which appears as an error in the alignment with the LOS and delay in the response of the missil...
Determination of a Two Variable Approximation Function with Application to the Fuel Combustion Charts
Following the demands of the design and performance analysis in case of liquid fuel propelled rocket engines, as well as the trajectory optimization, the development of efficient codes, which frequently need to call the...
