An Analytical Study on the HRD Techniques Implemented in State Bank of India

Abstract

This study is based on “HRD Practices” prevailing in State Bank of India. This study has been carried out to evaluate the HRD Practices level in State Bank of India. The secondary objectives of the study are to determine the employees’ satisfaction levels in the HRD Practices followed by the company and to learn about different aspects of HRD Practices and their applications at different age groups of employees. This research work is in the form of 'ex-post-facto' study. The primary data was collected through a well- structured questionnaire and ANOVA was used for statistical analysis. The study revealed the fact that HRD is considered as inevitable in State Bank of India and employees do consider HRD as the most important factor in their growth as well as the growth of the organisation.
