An Analytical Technique for Solving Nonlinear Oscillators of the Motion of a Rigid Rod Rocking Bock and Tapered Beams
Journal Title: Journal of Applied and Computational Mechanics - Year 2016, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper, a new analytical approach has been presented for solving strongly nonlinear oscillator problems. Iteration perturbation method leads us to high accurate solution. Two different high nonlinear examples are also presented to show the application and accuracy of the presented method. The results are compared with analytical methods and with the numerical solution using Runge-Kutta method in different figures. It has been shown that the iteration perturbation approach doesn't need any small perturbation and is accurate for nonlinear oscillator equations.

Reducing Retrieval Time in Automated Storage and Retrieval System with a Gravitational Conveyor Based on Multi-Agent Systems
The main objective of this study is to reduce the retrieval time of a list of products by choosing the best combination of storage and retrieval rules at any time. This is why we start by implementing some storage rules...
Ritz Method Application to Bending, Buckling and Vibration Analyses of Timoshenko Beams via Nonlocal Elasticity
Bending, buckling and vibration behaviors of nonlocal Timoshenko beams are investigated in this research using a variational approach. At first, the governing equations of the nonlocal Timoshenko beams are obtained, and...
Optimum design of FGX-CNT-reinforced Reddy pipes conveying fluid subjected to moving load
The harmony search algorithm is applied to optimum designs of a functionally graded (FG)-carbon naotubes (CNTs)-reinforced pipes conveying fluid subjected to moving load. The structure is modeled by Reddy cylindrical she...
Deformation Characteristics of Composite Structures
Composites provide design flexibility because many of them can be moulded into complex shapes. Carbon fibre-reinforced epoxy composites exhibit excellent fatigue tolerance with high specific strength and stiffness. Thes...
Free Vibration of Annular Plates by Discrete Singular Convolution and Differential Quadrature Methods
Plates and shells are the significant structural components for many engineering and industrial applications. In this study, free vibration analysis of annular plates is investigated. For this, two different numerical me...
