An Application of PSV-S in Fast Development of a Real-Time DSP System
Journal Title: Journal of ICT Research and Applications - Year 2016, Vol 10, Issue 2
Abstract
Virtual prototyping is natural in developing digital signal processing (DSP) systems using a product-service-value system (PSV-S) approach. Our DSP virtual prototyping approach consists of four development phases: (1) a generic DSP system, (2) a functional DSP system, (3) an architectural DSP system, and (4) a real-time DSP system. Such an approach results in a more comprehensive approach in the DSP system development. This paper shows an example of prototyping a voice codec on a single-chip DSP processor.

Randomized Symmetric Crypto Spatial Fusion Steganographic System
The image fusion steganographic system embeds encrypted messages in decomposed multimedia carriers using a pseudorandom generator but it fails to evaluate the contents of the cover image. This results in the secret data...
Efficient CFO Compensation Method in Uplink OFDMA for Mobile WiMax
Mobile WiMax uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) in uplink where synchronization is a complex task as each user presents a different carrier frequency offset (CFO). In the Data Aided Phase Incremen...
Automatic Title Generation in Scientific Articles for Authorship Assistance: A Summarization Approach
This paper presents a study on automatic title generation for scientific articles considering sentence information types known as rhetorical categories. A title can be seen as a high-compression summary of a document. A...
Emotion Recognition from Facial Expressions using Images with Pose, Illumination and Age Variation for Human-Computer/Robot Interaction
A technique for emotion recognition from facial expressions in images with simultaneous pose, illumination and age variation in real time is proposed in this paper. The basic emotions considered are anger, disgust, happy...
Voting-based Classification for E-mail Spam Detection
The problem of spam e-mail has gained a tremendous amount of attention. Although entities tend to use e-mail spam filter applications to filter out received spam e-mails, marketing companies still tend to send unsolicite...
