An Efficient Method for Distributing Animated Slides of Web Presentations
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2016, Vol 7, Issue 1
Abstract
Attention control of audience is required for suc-cessful presentations, therefore giving a presentation with im-mediate reaction, called reactive presentation, to unexpected changes in the context given by the audience is important. Examples of functions for the reactive presentation are shape animation effects on slides and slide transition effects. Understanding the functions that realize the reactive pre-sentation on the Web can be useful. In this work, we present an effective method for synchronizing shape animation effects on the Web, such as moving the objects and changing the size and color of the shape objects. The main idea is to make a video of animated slides, called Web Slide Media, including the page information of slides as movie chapter information for synchronization. Moreover, we explain a method to reduce the file size of the Web slide media by removing all shape animation effects and slide transition effects from a Web slide media item, called Sparse Web Slide Media. We demonstrate that the performance of the system is enough for practical use and the file size of the Sparse Web Slide Media is smaller than the file size of the Web Slide Media.

Design and Simulation of Adaptive Controller for Single Phase Grid Connected Photovoltaic Inverter under Distorted Grid Conditions
This paper presents an adaptive controller for single-phase grid-connected photovoltaic inverter under abnormal grid conditions. The main problem associated with the controllers of the grid-connected inverter is that the...
Semantic, Automatic Image Annotation Based on Multi-Layered Active Contours and Decision Trees
In this paper, we propose a new approach for automatic image annotation (AIA) in order to automatically and efficiently assign linguistic concepts to visual data such as digital images, based on both numeric and semantic...
Design and Learning Effectiveness Evaluation of Gamification in e-Learning Systems
This paper proposes a gamification design model that can be used to design and develop gamified e-learning systems. Furthermore, a controlled and carefully designed experimental evaluation in terms of learning effectiven...
Short Survey on Static Hand Gesture Recognition
This paper presents a survey of methods which have been recently proposed for recognizing static hand gestures. These approaches are first summarized and then are assessed based on a common dataset. Because mentioned met...
An Enhanced MPLS-TE For Transferring Multimedia packets
Multi-Protocol Label Switching is useful in managing multimedia traffic when some links are too congested; MPLS Traffic Engineering is a growing implementation in today's service provider networks. In This paper we propo...
