Journal Title: The Journal of International Social Research - Year 2017, Vol 10, Issue 54

Abstract

The involuntary relocation of individuals, families and societies, dramatically impacts human life. Syrian citizens who have been displaced due to many disadvantages caused by war, displacement and migration caused by the war in their countries are exposed to many risks both before the migration and during the migration process and in the process of admission to the new country. Among the groups that suffered the most from these processes, children are in the first place. Syrian children, who are at risk in many respects, do not cause lost generations but only by meeting their needs. One of the most important of these needs is the need for education within the child's right to education. This study aims to make visible the obstacles in front of the education processes in Turkey and to propose solutions to these problems with the perspective of school social work, for Syrian children who witnessed the most traumatic processes of war and migration.
