An Integrated Approach for Mining Closed Sequential Patterns
Journal Title: International Journal of Computer Science & Engineering Technology - Year 2014, Vol 5, Issue 5
Abstract
Sequential pattern mining has been a well studied area in data mining for over a decade. Yet researchers are still uncovering interesting problems, new algorithms and ways to improve upon existing methods. To efficiently mine long sequential patterns, closed sequential pattern mining was introduced. In this paper, we propose an efficient closed sequential pattern mining algorithm CSPAM by integrating the best qualities of an efficient sequential pattern mining algorithm SPAM and an efficient closed itemset mining algorithm closet+.
